Alibris – What can I say? These guys list out of print books of mine that even I can’t get a hold of. They even list books I havn’t done yet. Weird. They listed a book for the longest time I only mentioned to my editor once….

The Society of Children’s Book Authors and Illustrators – Good information and support for those new to the field. Tons of links to member sites.
The Author’s Guild – These guys work really hard for the rights of authors. Good perks for joining.
The Society of Illustrators – Among other things, they put on an annual show of original children’s book illustration.
The Graphic Artists Guild – A professional organization who publish the bible of illustration business and pricing.
Children’s Book Council – Some good info about the field of Children’s publishing, including illustration and writing.
